Dear Parents,

Our Science and Invention Fair begins today. I hope the students have worked hard in preparing their project. All are welcome to come for the presentations. Some grades will present today. I will give you the schedule for tomorrow and Thursday in case you are able to come. The others presented today. Students are to take home their projects after their presentation. Presentations are in the PFC.

Wednesday 8:00 5th and 7th
  9:15 PreK, K, 1st
  1:15 3rd
Thursday 12:30 4th

The second grade will receive their first communion this Saturday morning at 10:00. Congratulations second grade!

Progress Reports have been sent home today. Please review. Some grades may need to come up. I congratulate those parents who make education come first before other after school activities. It’s hard to believe that we only have approximately five weeks of school left! I hope that at some time during the year you have sent (or will send) a note to the teacher to let them know how much you appreciate all they have done for your child.

I thank all the parents who have stayed on top of paying their tuition on time or relatively soon thereafter. Just one more payment due!

Have a great week, and remember to pray as a family. Ask your darlings to do some spontaneous prayers.

Ms. Volker

DESTINATION DREAM VACATION UPDATE

Many parents have already sent in their bottle of wine and volunteer request forms (green sheet in last week’s newsletter), thank you for being so prompt. If you have not returned your form and one bottle of wine, please do so this week.

Please continue to sell your Dream Vacation Tickets. If more tickets are needed please call the office and they will be sent home with your child.

Volunteers, you will receive a schedule with your time slots. If you have a conflict, please email: maribethmay@hotmail.com.

We still could use a few more Casino Table Sponsorships. If interested please call 972-937-7557.

There is still room for child care during this event! However, drop-ins are not recommended. So plan NOW. Due to safe environment requirement for sitters and staffing needs, we need to know if you are coming. To make reservations for your child/children call the school office during the day at 972-937-0956.

We are looking forward to helping you have a great time at Destination Dream Vacation!
